Your Sperm Count: Be Fruitful And Multiply.

A Sperm Cell

A Sperm Cell

God commanded man to “be fruitful and multiply” isn’t it? But some men seem to have difficulties with that organ responsible for being fruitful.

In marriages of today, infertility is often blamed on the wife, when in most cases it is the man who needs to be checked. This article aims to help every male by educating them on possible causes of this reproductive setback and also suggesting solutions to them.

In order to get a woman pregnant, a man has to have at least 40 million sperm per ejaculation.

More than 40% of couples who are unable to
have children are unable to do so because of
problems with the man’s sperm. The sperm count should be the #1 fertility test done when you evaluate your fertility.

Temporary reduction in sperm production is
related to various causes like heavy duty cycling, exposure to extreme heat, ill fitting briefs, insomnia, performance pressure and emotional stress. All of these are causes of low sperm count in men. However, patients who suffer from this temporary low count can try out some helpful lifestyle changes to boost their sperm count.

About six percent of males between the ages of
fifteen and fifty struggle with infertility. Male
infertility can be caused by a variety of problems.

A recent study shows that sperm count can be improved by a combination of zinc and folic acid. Low vitamin C has also been implicated in an abnormal sperm count.

You can improve the sperm count by following
these 10 simple steps:

• Stop/reduce Masturbation – the more
times you ejaculate, the less dense your semen
will be.

•Don’t ejaculate more than once a day or
every other day.

•Refrain from habits like smoking, alcohol
consumption etc. – Alcohol affects your liver
function, which, in turn, causes a dramatic rise in estrogen levels. Even two drinks a day will have long-term effects on sperm production

•Exercise regularly. Exercising your PC muscle (Pubococcygeus) can help you shoot further than ever before.

•Eat Nutritious Food – Diet that’s low in fat, and
high in protein, vegetables, and whole grains is
good for your health and for your sperm. Eat Oysters, Bananas, Pumpkin seeds, Walnuts, and Ginseng roots.

•Avoid astringent and too spicy foods.

•Reduce caffeine intake

•Avoid heating of testicles – Wear loose, cotton
boxer shorts, Avoid hot baths and saunas

•Lose any excess weight, which tends to cause
testosterone/oestrogen imbalances.

•Make love in the early morning or afternoon.
Sperm levels are often highest in the mornings.

Now that you have this information, go ahead and take all necessary actions… Let God’s word come alive in your life; Be Fruitful and Multiply!

Cheers.
