Despite being 35-year old (which is not old, by an average man’s standard these days. lol) D’banj remains one of the most eligible bachelors in the Nigerian music scene. We have lost count of many women the ‘Why Me’ crooner has been romantically linked with. But despite the flurry of women at this ‘young’ man’s disposal, he remains single.
D’banj has, however, revealed to NETng in a recent chat that he would very much like to settle down and have a child this year (this 2015 0000…so make una watch out). D’banj revealed that he was under immense pressure to get married last year, but it didn’t happen.
In his exact words:
‘Yes, I was under pressure towards the end of last year to get married, my mum really wanted it.’
When asked if he has plans of taking a bride home to his mum this year, D’banj said:
‘Well, I don’t know yet but I know that I am intending to do it this year. More importantly for me, I’ve always wanted to have a child, but last year my brother, Kay Switch had a child and it brought so much joy to me. So this year, I’m thinking of settling down to have my own Koko junior soon.’…
We can’t wait to have KOKO JUNIOR, a child celebrity that will be our own IVY BLUE or ‘compass named’ NORTH WEST. lol.
